This project is a small home in central Phoenix that was built in 1951 that had a double garage added as well as an enclosed patio area. The home was taken back to its original design that included turning the garage into a carport. The flat roof over the patio area was also removed. The front window was replaced by a two-panel window and a door. New windows off of the kitchen and a double door were added off of the dining room. The doors were custom made. New windows were installed throughout the home, except the original front window and door.

The interior had a hall closet removed to increase the size and accommodate a shower in the master bedroom/bathroom. The interior was also painted by Adix Painting, Inc. New baseboards and exterior doors were painted. The stained doors were kept in their original state as well as a built-in desk and shelf. In the hall bathroom, a few pieces of original pink tile were added to the new tile work. In the living room, the wood mantle over the fireplace was removed, a hearth was added, the wall was covered with block half way up to the corner of the room, and a larger mantle installed.

The block wall was also added around a storage shed that serves as a laundry room. Mexican brick was added to the top of the front block walls in the courtyard to tie in with the original brick on the front of the house.
